ILA - Berlin Air Show
In 1992, the International Aerospace Exhibition, also known as the Berlin Air Show (ILA), was first held on the grounds of the future Berlin Brandenburg Airport. Over the years, the Berlin Air Show has firmly established itself as one of the world's major air shows, helping to put Berlin-Brandenburg on the map. Only Paris-Le-Bourget, the oldest air show in the world, offers a wider range of events and a larger exhibition area.
ILA 2010 was attended by over 235,000 visitors, including 125,000 trade visitors. Business deals and cooperation agreements worth billions were signed at the show. Trade show action in 2010 also featured a large number of aircraft on display, including many world premieres, and the biggest conference and symposium programme ever. During the 6-day-event, 1,153 exhibitors from 47 countries presented products, systems and processes from all sectors of the aerospace industry.
