The official start of construction work began on the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport on 5 September 2006. Access to the construction site has since been controlled by the client Berlin-Schoenefeld GmbH (FBS) Airport and outlined in the logistics and construction site regulations. Contractors must register each supply and waste disposal trip at central traffic control. Registration is carried out online on the home page.
